After arriving at Narita Airport, board the Narita Express train (N'EX) to Tokyo station. Frequent departures are available from the airport rail terminal. At Tokyo Station (B5), take the up escalator, following the green signs for the Nagano Shinkansen. The Nagano line typically departs Tokyo station on one of platforms 20 to 23. Then follow the instructions from Nagano below.

From Tokyo Station, board the Asama Shinkansen on the Hokuriku (Nagano) line to Nagano station, 1 hour, 50 minutes. The Nagano line typically departs Tokyo station on one of platforms 20 to 23. Then follow the instructions from Nagano below.
Upon arrival at Nagano station, take the up escalator. Staying to the
right, go through the ticket gate for the JR Shinetsu Line, bound
to Myoko Kogen Station, 40 minutes.
A special shuttle bus is now
available directly from Nagano Station to Myoko. More information and
reservations are available here.
The ski resorts are approximately 10 minutes from Myoko Kogen
Station. Take a taxi or bus to your destination at
Myoko.

From Shin-Osaka or Kyoto station, catch the Tokkaido Shinkansen to Nagoya, 55 minutes or 40 minutes, respectively. Transfer at Nagoya Station to the Chuo Honsen line and catch the Shinano Limited Express to Nagano Station, 3 hours. Then follow the instructions from Nagano above.
